Inflabi Sustainable Helmet | Our Commitment to Better Processes

Inflabi’s Dedication to Sustainability: Pioneering the Future of Sustainable Helmets
The journey to sustainability is both challenging and exhilarating, especially in a rapidly advancing technological landscape. Today’s era of innovation often sees cutting-edge developments taking precedence over sustainable practices, primarily because sustainable materials and methods aren’t always available to match these novel advancements. As Inflabi continues its pioneering journey in the development of inflatable & sustainable helmet, we’re taking a proactive stand in embracing and promoting sustainability at every step in order to deliver our sustainable helmet

The Sustainability Challenge in Helmet Manufacturing
One of the core materials for Inflabi is Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU). While this material offers remarkable qualities that are ideal for our product, traditional TPU is manufactured from virgin petroleum, creating a significant carbon footprint.
Being deeply committed to our environmental ethos, this has prompted us at Inflabi to look towards the horizon for transformative changes in sustainable TPU production in order to create a truly sustainable helmet
🌱A New Dawn for TPU Production 🌱
It’s heartening to note that the industry’s landscape is beginning to evolve. Esteemed brands like Patagonia are paving the way, transitioning towards the use of recycled TPU. This transition speaks volumes about the rapidly advancing viability of recycled TPU in mainstream manufacturing.
Furthermore, industry giants like Lubrizol and BASF have heralded a new phase by introducing bio-based TPU. Comprising up to 70% bio-based materials, these firms claim that this innovative solution is not just comparable, but in certain aspects, even superior to traditional TPU. We at Inflabi are eagerly following these developments, and with thorough testing and assessment, we hope to integrate these new materials into our product line in the future

Towards a Circular Economy in Sustainable Helmet Production
The sustainable development news doesn’t just stop there! Recent breakthroughs from the University of Copenhagen have revealed innovative, non-toxic methods to separate polyester and cotton during recycling processes. This monumental leap promises greater sustainability and, if such progress can be replicated with materials like TPU, Inflabi is poised to make significant strides in promoting a circular economy.
By harnessing the potential of recycled and bio-based raw materials and combining them with eco-friendly recycling practices, our vision of producing a helmet that equally benefits our customers and our planet is no longer just a distant dream but an achievable reality.
